A meeting of the War Decorated Trust was held on Thursday at Chandigarh. The following Trustees were present:

Discussion centered around passing the audited accounts for the year 2012-2013 and the Scholarship Scheme of the Trust.

Citation:

Major Davinder Pal Singh, commanding a company of Bihar Regiment, was assigned the task of capturing an enemy strong point in the Eastern Sector. Despite intense shelling and small arms fire, Major Davinder Pal Singh, with utter disregard for his safety, led his men and captured the objective after fierce fighting. He also captured an enemy 105 medium machine gun.

In this action, Major Davinder Pal Singh displayed gallantry, determination and leadership of a high order.
