Citation:

Flight Lieutenant Trilok Nath Ghadiok, flight commander in a transport squadron operating in Jammu and Kashmir, carried out many supply dropping sorties to Uri and later to Tithwal under difficult flying conditions. On one of the sorties, even though his aircraft was repeatedly hit by enemy fire, he successfully completed his mission with characteristic keenness and determination. When transport support had to be employed to reinforce Leh, he operated regularly on this hazardous route.
