Naik Nihal Singh was part of a commando force during raid in the Rajasthan Sector. While proceeding towards the objective, his group was ambushed. He immediately rushed forward and, with complete disregard for his safety, charged the enemy, killing two of them. In this action, Naik Nihal Singh displayed commendable courage, determination and devotion to duty.
